Jo Wallace from JW CATS is proud to present a collaboration with Jackie Halina Cmcgc to deliver the Elite Master Cat Training Program.
Jackie Halina was a Vet Nurse, Author, Dog Behaviourist, she has been Grooming Dogs for 35 years and specialised in Cat Grooming for 18 years. She holds the record of having the only cat in Canada that has placed twice in dog grooming competitions in creative, placing over dogs both times.
Jo Wallace has been in the dog grooming industry for almost 10 years and is a Master Cat Groomer, Award Winning Cat Groomer as well as a qualified Tutor of Cat Grooming. Jo is also a beloved cat owner, of 7 of her own cats (Maine Coon, Siamese, Oriental, Ragdolls, British Blue and the old faithful Tabby, Basil).
Jackie and Jo’s approach to Cat Grooming is holistic, using your body as a restrain system and working with the flow and energy of the cats behaviour.
I.C.A.T.S Elite Master Cat Training Programme
You have a few options for this programme.
Online Elite Master Cat Grooming Certification
can be booked using the link below. The course is approx. £950 - paid in Canadian $ and payments can be paid monthly.
The Practical Training is Written by Jackie and Delivered by Jo. This is course is £950 plus VAT and is booked via Jo.
You can complete your online certification on its own or with a practical training course with Jo Wallace in her salon or in yours if you have 3 or more people and you have Cat Models.
Practical training equips professionals with the skills to handle cats safely, kindly and effectively and to work on your own as a successful Cat Groomer.
Exams
1. Via Zoom with Jackie as part of the online program at no additional cost.
2. Or you can opt to have your exams with Jo Wallace in the UK. To take face to face exams at her salon or yours at an extra cost of £300 plus VAT.
Courses will run on the dates below OR Jo will travel to your salon if you have the cats and 3-5 delegates. Costs may vary dependent on this.

· Preparing yourself, your environment and the cat for grooming
· Feeling confident in your clipping skills, including lion cuts, mat removals and teddy trims
· Solo cat grooming
· Practice your grooming skills on our cat models and watch demos with Jo
· Includes lifelong Mentoring with Jo and business/marketing support. It also includes
Monthly zoom calls - “Ask Jackie & Jo” on any cat grooming topics/chats/updates and just chatting cats!

· 3-day practical course: £950 + VAT per person.
· 5-day practical course: £1,550 + VAT per person.
(maximum 3-5 participants per course, depending on the venue)
Practical training courses can also be run without completing the online content if required however, this means you will not gain the Master Cat Groomer Certificate.
